Featuring: The Southern Jersey Taino Tribal Council of Jatibonicu' Elder & Spiritual Leader, Native American Arts & Crafts, Native American Foods, Drumming, Singing, Dancing, Storytelling, Hoop Dancing, Flute Music and much much more. This is a richly rewarding cultural and educational experience!

Information On the Upcoming Annual New Jersey Taino Guateke Festival

This First Annual New Jersey Taino Festival is now in the planing stages for the dates of July 25 and 26 1998. Anyone interested in taking part in this upcoming festival should Contact the office of the Inter-Tribal Council and its Taino Festival Committee in New Jersey. This Taino Indigenous festival will be an Annual event called The Taino Guakete Festival, and will be officially sponsored by the Taino Inter-Tribal Council Inc., a Native American educational cultural Nonprofit organization and hosted by the Taino Tribe of Jatibonicu', a New Jersey Taino tribal organization, and presented as an educational cultural community Event. All Native American venders, traders and dancers are requested to please contact the Taino Guakete Festival committee. If the Taino venders, dancers and Drumming groups want a spot at this annual Taino festival, do not wait at the last minute to request a spot or table, as you may not get a spot if you come to late. These spots will be very limitted and solely avalible by contract on a first come first serve bases.
